For nearly 30 years Alan was a serial intrapreneur at Citi, bringing new technology-driven services to asset managers, brokers, insurers and other banks. He holds two patents for business process improvements in reconciliation and collateral management. His career at Citi culminated in taking the first asset manager focused global middle office services business from idea to $1.3 trillion in administration.
Most recently he was a senior advisory consultant in wealth and asset management with EY and his own independent consultancy, working with the largest global asset servicers and asset managers.
Alan has published industry papers, and spoken on, or chaired industry panels regarding competitive intelligence, NBOR, outsourcing, blockchain and process improvement using technologies such as robotic process automation.
Alan has an MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School and a BS in Applied Mathematics from Carnegie Mellon University.
