Jacques van Rooijen

Jacques van Rooijen serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Fundi Foundation since August 2023, where responsibilities include guiding strategic direction and ensuring alignment with the mission to empower education. In their role as Executive Head of Information Technology at Fundi SA since April 2016, Jacques leads the strategic evolution of IT solutions in the financial sector, focusing on collaboration, talent development, security, and governance. Prior experience includes positions as Senior Information Technology Manager, Solutions Architect and IS Manager, and roles in Eduloan Financial Services as Senior Systems Architect, Database System Architect, and Senior Software Engineer. Jacques is an alumnus of the University of Cape Town and Hoërskool Florida.
