Parker Smathers

Parker Smathers has a diverse work experience. In 2019, they were a Full Stack Engineer and Cofounder for FundStory. From 2017 to 2019, they were a Freelance Web Developer, building websites in collaboration with authors, designers, artists, and nonprofit organizations. From 2007 to 2017, they were an Editor for Wesleyan University Press. From 2004 to 2007, they were an Editorial Associate for University of Chicago Press.

Parker Smathers completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English/Creative Writing from Rhodes College between 1993 and 1997. Parker then earned a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Poetry from the University of Iowa between 1999 and 2001. In 2016, they attended Dev Bootcamp's full stack web development immersive program.
