John Nichols

John Nichols is currently a Software Developer at Funeral Directors Life (FDLIC) since April 2023, following graduation from Skill Distillery's Java Full Stack Developer Bootcamp in February 2023. During the bootcamp, John implemented full stack applications and created RESTful APIs while utilizing technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, SQL, JavaScript, and Angular, and adopted Agile methodologies. Prior to transitioning into software development, John gained experience as a CDL A Truck Driver from May 2014 to May 2022, ensuring timely deliveries and conducting equipment inspections. Additionally, John served as an Aviation Operations Specialist in the US Army from January 2009 to January 2013, supporting critical aviation missions. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Software Development from Western Governors University and a certificate in Java Full-Stack Development from Skill Distillery.
