David Lee Hernandez Jr. serves as a Member of the Board of Trustees for the Funeral Service Foundation since August 2022 and has been the Principal Owner of Jersey Memorial Group since January 2015, a family-owned network of funeral homes in New Jersey and Pennsylvania providing comprehensive end-of-life services. Hernandez also holds the position of General Agent at Jersey Memorial Insurance Agency and is a Board Member of Calvary Chapel Old Bridge. As Publisher of All Around Old Bridge, a hyper-local newspaper, Hernandez caters to over 26,000 households. Formerly a Member of the Board of Trustees at Raritan Bay Medical Center, Hernandez has extensive experience in the funeral service industry, recognized with the Pursuit of Excellence Award from the National Funeral Directors Association, an accolade given to the top 1% in the field. Educational credentials include an Associate of Science in Mortuary Science from Mercer County Community College and an Associate's degree in Business Administration from Brookdale Community College.
