Siina Pekkanen

Siina Pekkanen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Siina started their career at Keitele Engineered Wood in 2010 as a Quality Assistant, where they worked until 2012. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Project Coordinator at Lapland Safaris Ltd. In 2015, they joined the University of Lapland as a Research Trainee.

In 2016, Siina had multiple roles at different companies. Siina worked as a Design Intern at Muototalo Bravoo from January to March 2016. Later in the same year, they worked as an SPR varainhankkija and FRC fundraiser at Promotion Point from September 2016 to March 2017. Additionally, they were a Change Designer, Muutosmuotoilija, and Konsultti at Tamora Muutosmuotoilu Oy from September 2016 to March 2017.

From 2017 to 2018, Siina worked as a Sales Manager at Saintex Oy. In 2018, they joined Funidata Oy as a UI/UX designer, and later took on additional responsibilities as a Scrum Master. As of 2021, they hold the position of Design Team Lead and Scrum Master at Funidata Oy.

Siina Pekkanen has a diverse education history. Siina began by attending Savonia University of Applied Sciences from 2005 to 2010, earning an Engineer's Degree in Wood Product Engineering. In 2008-2009, Siina participated in an international exchange program at Avans University of Applied Sciences, where they focused on European project semester and International Business semester courses.

Siina then pursued a Master's Degree at the University of Lapland from 2012 to 2015 in the field of Art and Design, specializing in the arts. Additionally, in 2014, they had an international exchange experience at Sungkyunkwan University, where they took several courses from different disciplines, including mass communication and cultural studies.

Building on their academic background, Siina is currently enrolled at Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, where they are studying Computer Science and Information Processing. Their studies in this field began in 2020 and are ongoing.

In addition to their formal education, Siina has obtained certifications to enhance their skills. In 2022, they completed the "Leading Complex Projects" course offered by IDEO U and obtained the "Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®)" certification through Scrum Alliance.
