Rafat Alvi

Rafat Alvi has worked in a variety of roles in the technology industry since 1995. Rafat began their career as a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Lucent Technologies, followed by a role as Software Architect at eBay in 2000. In 2002, they joined Sun Microsystems as a Principal Engineer and in 2005, they became Global Software Sales CTO at Sun Microsystems Inc. In 2008, they were CTO/VP Eng at Eduify/Kno, which was later acquired by Intel. In 2011, they co-founded Their Black Box, Inc., which was later acquired by Menscience Androceuticals. From 2012 to 2015, they were Head of Zenprise Cloud, which was acquired by Citrix. In 2015, they became a Mentor at Alchemist Accelerator, and in 2017 they became CEO & Co-Founder of FunnelBeam.

Rafat Alvi received their Masters in Engineering from Stanford and their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Maths, Physics and Computer Science from Ohio Wesleyan University. In 2016, they completed the Alchemist Accelerator program. Additionally, in December 2013, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera.
