Morten Eikenes

Morten Eikenes is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various industries, including chemicals, technology, and research. Currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at LayerOne and a member of the Board of Directors at CIOL® AS, Morten previously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Bioenvision AS. Morten has also worked as a senior group leader in R&D at Solenis, overseeing defoamer product development, and excelled as Commercial Director and Managing Director at Nopco Paper Technology, where Morten managed sales and operations across Nordic countries. In prior roles at Jotun, Morten focused on innovation in hull performance solutions and antifouling products while beginning a career in wood technology research at the Norwegian Forest Research Institute. Morten holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the Norwegian University of Life Sciences.
