Chandra Shekhar Singh

Chandra Shekhar Singh is a seasoned professional in the mining industry with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Country Head at Fura Gems Inc. since November 2018, Chandra has previously held similar positions at JSPL Mozambique Minerais LDA and Jindal Steel & Power Mauritius Ltd. Earlier career highlights include roles as Director at Bofal Indo Mining Company S.A. and General Manager positions at JSW ISPAT and Global Steel Holdings Ltd. Chandra's expertise encompasses administration control, mine planning, production scheduling, and the implementation of quality and environmental management systems such as ISO 9000 and ISO 14000. Chandra holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mining Technology from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad.
