Daniela Cardona Lopera

Daniela Cardona Lopera is a skilled geologist with extensive experience in the mining sector, currently serving as Geóloga de mina at Fura Gems Inc. since August 2023. Daniela previously held the position of Profesional en geología at Antioquia Gold LTD from November 2021 to June 2023, where responsibilities included ensuring compliance with scheduled laws and monitoring dilution in active mining areas. Prior to that, Daniela worked as Geóloga junior at Fura Gems Inc. from September 2020 to November 2021, focusing on geological mapping and supervision of emerald extraction protocols. Additional experience includes a role as Ingeniera junior at Atico Mining Corporation, where short-term planning and oversight of surveyor activities were key responsibilities, as well as an internship at Red Eagle Mining Corporation that involved support in diamond drilling projects. Daniela holds a degree in Geology from Universidad EAFIT, obtained in 2018.
