Jason Richards is currently a board member at Furman University. Prior to that, they worked as an assistant director at the Center for Developmental Services from January 2005 to December 2007. There, they were responsible for all financial aspects of the organization, including preparing and implementing budgets, financial reporting to the board, banking relationships, and administering payroll and benefits. Jason also supervised the scheduling and intake department, recruited and trained volunteers, and coordinated fundraising efforts, including grant writing, donor cultivation and recognition, event planning, correspondence, and records administration. In addition, they created quarterly publications and maintained the organization's website.
From January 2003 to December 2005, Jason Richards worked as a leadership giving manager at the United Way of Greenville County. There, they managed the annual fundraising effort for the professional and medical divisions, coordinated and conducted 60+ workplace campaigns annually, and directly solicited over 3,000 individuals. Jason also recruited and trained volunteer leaders, planned and executed large and small events, and coordinated various other fundraising activities.
Jason Richards has a BA in Political Science from Furman University. Jason is also certified as a Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB) from the CRB Council (Council of Real Estate Brokerage Managers).
