Karen Turner is an experienced educator and well-being coordinator with a strong background in art and design. Since September 2002, Karen has been serving as the Well Being Coordinator at Furness College, where responsibilities include providing pastoral support and counseling for students. Additionally, Karen teaches Art & Design at BTEC NVQ levels, specializing in ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, and photography. Prior experience includes teaching ceramics to beginners and adults with learning differences at Walney Adult Education, and operating a specialist tobacconist and leather goods business, The Briar Bowl. Karen's educational credentials include a degree in Art & Design from the University of Central Lancashire and a BTEC National Diploma from Furness College.
