Heather Thompson

Heather Thompson is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in event planning and management. Currently serving as a Marketing Specialist and Event Planner at Furniture Marketing Group since March 2020, Heather has previously held significant roles including Sr. Manager of Conferences + Events at Furniture Today and Project Manager at Apple Rock Displays. A strong foundation in marketing and events was established at High Point University as Marketing & Events Coordinator for Undergraduate Admissions. Additional experience includes positions as Business Operations Manager at Silk Purse Properties and various roles at Auto-Owners Insurance, where responsibilities ranged from Recruiting Coordinator to Policyholder Services Supervisor. Heather holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration and Management from Alma College and has also studied abroad at the University of Aberdeen.
