Amar Sood

Amar Sood is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in maritime and organizational management. As the Regional Director for FUSCHIA since April 2011, Amar has successfully led the MENA and South East Asian sectors from inception to profitability, with a strong focus on internal systems and processes. Prior roles include Director of Projects and Director of Maritime Regulations and Standards at Dubai World, where responsibilities encompassed successful project execution and regulatory oversight. Amar also served as a Senior Maritime Expert for the Dubai RTA Maritime Agency and held various managerial positions at Sydney Ferries Corporation, focusing on marine engineering and vessel operations. With a Master's in Engineering Management from the University of Technology Sydney, Amar is well-equipped with both technical and management expertise in the maritime industry.
