Derek Saar

Derek Saar has extensive experience in fundraising and client services, currently serving as the Director of Fundraising Strategies at Fuse Fundraising since May 2021, after holding the position of Senior Manager in the same area. Prior to this role, Derek worked at ForwardPMX from October 2016 to May 2021, progressing through positions from Associate Director to Manager and Associate Manager of Direct Mail Client Services. Earlier in Derek's career, a role as Region Coordinator at Novus Media Inc. involved liaising between client teams and publications, managing ad placements, and negotiating with publication representatives. Derek holds two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Mass Communication and Political Science from St. Cloud State University, earned between 2009 and 2014.
