Stefan Kol

Stefan Kol is a highly experienced professional in the field of protein science and biochemistry, currently serving as the Scientific Manager of R&D at Fuse Vectors since June 2023. Previously, Stefan held positions as Lab Manager for Protein Purification at immunAware ApS and Protein Science Manager at CHRETO, focusing on monoclonal antibody purification. Stefan's extensive background includes work as a Protein Biochemist at The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability, where engineering of Chinese Hamster Ovary cell lines for therapeutic production was a primary focus. Further contributions as a Visiting Researcher in the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics involved the study of membrane proteins, while postdoctoral research roles across notable institutions such as the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research and Karolinska Institutet emphasized structural investigations of human proteins and ion channels.
