Esteban Ruiz

Esteban Ruiz is an experienced educator and researcher with a diverse background in engineering, science, and teaching. Currently serving as a Math and Science Teacher at Fusion Academy since April 2020, Esteban specializes in curriculum development and communication with parents. Previously, Esteban worked at APO Technologies as a Principal Investigator, managing a team and overseeing a $225,000 budget for an electronic prosthetic alignment platform. Esteban has also served as an instructor in various settings, including teaching machine shop skills at theShop.build and TechShop, Inc. Additionally, Esteban has extensive research experience, including a PhD in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Pittsburgh, with a focus on prosthetic technology and the mechanical properties of materials. Esteban’s early research included work at prestigious institutions such as UCLA and UC Berkeley, contributing to advancements in bioengineering and rehabilitation technologies.
