Lorenna Garcia-Bochas

Lorenna Garcia-Bochas, MSGH, MSIB, is an experienced tutor and educator with a strong background in biology and STEM subjects. Currently serving as a Biology Tutor at Durham Technical Community College and a Substitute Teacher at Fusion Academy, Lorenna also provides academic support as an Academic Tutor and Lead Tutor for It's Not Complicated Education, LLC. Previous roles include research assistant positions at Prevent Blindness North Carolina and Duke University, where Lorenna focused on vision health and multicultural programming respectively. With a foundation in medical technology and laboratory work from AbbyCare and Precision Point Diagnostics, Lorenna holds a Master of Science in Global Health from Duke University and a Master of Science in Integrative Biology from Kennesaw State University, complemented by a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Fayetteville State University.
