Michael Gibbons

Michael Gibbons currently serves as the Head of School at Fusion Academy Upper West Side since September 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing academics, operations, culture, and enrollment, and leading the administrative team. Under Gibbons' leadership, Fusion Academy received the 2022-2023 Comeback School of the Year award. Prior to this role, Gibbons was Campus Director, Mathematics Department Head, and Mathematics Teacher at Preferred Pathways LLC from August 2016 to September 2021, where premium tutoring and academic consulting services were provided to NYC families. Additionally, Gibbons worked as a Curriculum Developer and Instructor at Harlem Children's Zone in early 2019, focusing on enhancing undergraduate mathematics education. Gibbons began the professional journey as Head Mathematics Instructor at The Tutoring Center from August 2014 to September 2015. Gibbons holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Rutgers University, completed in 2014.
