Michelle Flanagan

Michelle (Houlihan) Flanagan serves as the Head of School at Fusion Academy since December 2013, overseeing campus operations, staff development, academic quality, student enrollment, budgeting, and stakeholder communication. In addition to this role, Michelle has contributed to the New School Success Team, focusing on implementing Fusion's culture and mission across new schools, fostering community partnerships, and providing staff training. Previous positions include Head of School in Training on the East Coast, Assistant Director, Post-Secondary Counselor, and various teaching roles. Michelle also works as an Event Planner for Nicole Guilmartin Events and served as Director of Development & Community Champion for the Women's Business League. Education includes a Master of Science in Childhood Education and Special Education from The College of New Rochelle and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Human Relations/Counseling from Pace University.
