Senior Vice President, Customer Experience at Fusion Connect

Sharma Montgomery has a diverse work experience spanning over several roles and industries. They currently hold the position of Vice President of Account Management at Fusion Connect since November 2020.

Before joining Fusion Connect, Sharma worked at Windstream Enterprise for nearly two decades. They started as a Director of Sales in March 2001 and held this role until November 2020. During their time at Windstream Enterprise, Sharma was also promoted to the position of Channel Manager, where they were responsible for overseeing the recruitment, training, and development of new channel partners. Sharma consistently achieved or exceeded monthly sales quotas and utilized their expertise in telecommunications technology to effectively communicate complex network designs to customers and partners.

Prior to Windstream, Sharma worked at PAETEC, where they achieved several fast-track promotions. They started as a Senior Account Manager in 2001 and progressed to Supervisor of Account Development in 2004, and eventually became the Senior Manager of Account Development from 2005 to 2011. Sharma was recognized as a top performer and effectively managed a large number of client accounts, contributing significantly to the company's billing.

Before entering the telecommunications industry, Sharma worked as an Operations Manager at 2nd Century Communications and as a Local Technical Consultant at Teleport Communications Group (TCG). They also gained experience as a NOC Technician at Eastern Telelogic Corporation (ETC).

Sharma's career began in the United States Air Force, where they served as a Ground Radio Communications Specialist from 1992 to 1997.

Sharma Montgomery attended the United States Air Force Electronics & Communications program at Keesler Air Force Base in MS from 1992 to 1995. During this time, no degree or field of study was specified. Prior to that, from 1987 to 1991, Sharma attended Great Oaks Career Campuses and studied Radio and Television, although no degree was mentioned there either. Additionally, Sharma obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Six Sigma in September 2006.
