Jim Elder

Jim Elder has been in the Healthcare IT industry, his entire career, starting in 1983. Jim has held several key executive positions in six separate leading edge Private Equity backed HIT companies including; Phytel Inc. (acquired by IBM Watson Health), Healthvision (acquired by Quovadx), APACHE Medical (acquired by Cerner) and Actamed (acquired by Healthion Web MD). Jim’s expertise, experience and passion is in building Customer Experience models that ensure an overall quality of service and experience for healthcare customers. Jim has always pursued leading edge interests in emerging growth markets including: Health Information Exchange and sophisticated Data Management Solutions with heavy clinical interests, Clinical Outcomes Solutions and most recently helping to build the industry’s leading Population Health solution platform. Jim’s role experience includes EVP Sales & Client Services, Chief Executive Officer and multiple Sales, Marketing and Customer Services leadership positions. Jim graduated from the University of Georgia in 1983. Jim is a current employee at IBM WH.
