Andre Neto

Andre Neto serves as a Diagnostic Control and Instrumentation Technical Officer at Fusion for Energy (F4E) since January 2012, focusing on the integration of EU diagnostics into the ITER central control system (CODAC) and managing external contracts for I&C components. Previously, as an external I&C consultant for F4E and a researcher at EFDA-JET, Andre contributed to critical control system upgrades and managed magnetics diagnostic I&C requirements. With a background at IPFN, responsibilities included developing distributed control and data acquisition software, and as an assistant teacher at Instituto Superior Técnico, Andre supported computational physics courses. Andre holds a PhD, Master’s, and MSc in Physics Engineering from Instituto Superior Técnico, attained between 2003 and 2011.
