Karen Saevil-Turgeon has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Karen is currently working at Fusion Pharmaceuticals as a Health and Safety Manager, where they started in December 2020. Prior to this, they served as an Operations Coordinator from March to December 2020 and as an Administrative Assistant from March 2019 to March 2020.

In 2013, Karen started their own business as a private French tutor, catering to elementary school students, high school students, and adults. Karen continues to work as a self-employed French tutor to date.

Karen's career as an occupational therapist began in 1992 at McKellar General Hospital, where they worked until 1994. Karen then joined Cornwall General Hospital/Tri-County Mental Health Services as an Occupational Therapist from October 1994 to March 1998. Following this, they worked at Dynamic Rehabilitation as a Case Manager from March to July 1998.

In 1996, Karen co-founded READAPT Occupational Therapy Services and worked as a Staff Occupational Therapist until January 2005. Karen then joined JTOTPC OT Services as an Occupational Therapist and Quality Assurance Manager, a position they currently hold.

Karen's entrepreneurial spirit led their to establish Concussion Smarts Educational Services in January 2014, where they served as the Owner and Operator until March 2020. Additionally, they worked as a French and General Elementary Tutor at TutorBright from September 2013 to June 2019 and as a Supply Teacher at Ecole Renaissance from October 2007 to June 2009.

Overall, Karen Saevil-Turgeon has accumulated a wealth of experience in management, administration, tutoring, and occupational therapy throughout their career.

Karen Saevil-Turgeon has a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences in Occupational Therapy from McMaster University. Karen also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Queen's University. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Occupational Health and Safety from the University of New Brunswick, Mental Health First Aid from the Mental Health Commission of Canada, and Standard First Aid - CPR A - AED from St. John Ambulance Canada | Ambulance Saint-Jean.
