Lorraine Hughes

Lorraine Hughes has extensive work experience in the field of clinical operations. Lorraine most recently worked at Fusion Pharmaceuticals as the Vice President of Clinical Operations starting in January 2023. Prior to that, they held the role of VP and Head of Clinical Operations at Vedanta Biosciences, Inc. from August 2020 onwards. Lorraine also worked as the Senior Director of Clinical Operations at Vedanta Biosciences from April 2019 to August 2020. Before joining Vedanta Biosciences, Lorraine worked at Tesaro as the Director of Clinical Operations from August 2011 to April 2019. Lorraine also held positions at Eisai as a Senior Study Manager in Clinical Operations from July 2009 to April 2011, at MGI Pharma as the Director of Post Marketing Research from January 2008 to July 2009, at Guilford Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Study Manager in Clinical Operations from December 2003 to January 2008, and at PPD as a Senior Project Manager from 1998 to 2003.

Lorraine Hughes has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Towson University. Lorraine also holds a Master of Science degree in Business Management from The Johns Hopkins University.
