Valerie Leonard

Valerie Leonard, PHR has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Valerie is currently serving as the Head of Human Resources at FusionSite, where they are responsible for expanding and overseeing all HR activities. Prior to this, Valerie worked at Nissan Motor Corporation in various roles, including Senior Manager of Talent Management, Senior Manager of Learning and Development, and Senior Manager of Human Resources Business Partner. Valerie also served as the HR Manager for Nissan Canada, contributing to the brand's growth and improving employee engagement. Valerie's earlier experience includes roles at NCS Pearson, US District Court, Todays Office Professionals, FirstPlus Financial, FIRSTWORD Staffing, and American Eagle Group.

Valerie Leonard, PHR holds a BA degree in English and History from Sam Houston State University, which they obtained in 1995. In terms of additional certifications, they have completed the "Developing Business Acumen" course through LinkedIn in 2019, as well as obtained the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM in 2015. Valerie Leonard also holds the Professional in Human Resources certification from the HR Certification Institute.
