Matteo Foglio

Matteo Foglio has three years of work experience. In 2020, they began working as an Artificial Intelligence Engineer at Fusus, where they are responsible for the design, development, and deployment of deep learning models for object detection and image classification. In 2019, they co-founded a software consulting firm called Wepo, and delivered projects to 5 clients in one year. In 2018, they worked as a Research Specialist at the University of Illinois at Chicago, where they generalized the framework to estimate animal wildlife population using social media images. Matteo also worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Computational Population Biology Lab, where they developed a machine learning framework for animal wildlife population estimation based on social media images collections.

Matteo Foglio received a Master's degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2019, a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Illinois Chicago in 2018, and a Bachelor of Engineering - BE in Computer Engineering from Politecnico di Milano in 2016.
