Lisa Bettan has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Lisa started their career as a Software Intern at 101 Ways in 2007 and then worked as an Application Architect/ Tech Lead at Tribal Worldwide London in 2008. From 2009 to 2010, Lisa worked as a Mule Developer at PricewaterhouseCoopers - Service Delivery Center (PwC SDC) and then as a Java Web Developer at News UK from 2010 to 2012.
At The Economist, Lisa worked as a Mule Integration Developer, where they facilitated integration between multiple application teams and developed processes for canonical data and schema development. Lisa also created and deployed Multi-Layered Service architecture and migrated APIs to AWS Serverless Applications.
Lisa then worked at Incopro as a 2nd Line Support Engineer, responsible for the administration, management, and security of infrastructure and applications. Lisa also provided IT support and infrastructure management on-site with a client.
At Achilles Information Ltd, Lisa served as a Lead Web Developer, responsible for implementing the next major version of a supply chain management web application. Lisa then joined Webmart as a Technical Architect and was promoted to Head of Development, where they oversaw the technical architecture, development process, and introduced Scrum methodologies.
From 2016 to 2017, Lisa worked at Hindsight as a Head of Development and eventually became the Technical Director, responsible for the overall IT/ Technical operation. Lisa oversaw development, testing, infrastructure activities, and managed the commercial side of the IT department.
Currently, Lisa is working at Futrli as the Senior Director of Engineering. Lisa leads the IO team in writing scalable software solutions and utilizes Python, AWS, and whiteboard sessions to develop future-proof and highly robust code.
Lisa Bettan has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Oxford, which they obtained from 2010 to 2014. Lisa also completed an English Course at St Giles International in Central London from 2010 to 2012. Before that, they pursued a BSc in Business Information Systems at the University of East London from 2008 to 2010.
Lisa also has additional certifications, including an Enhanced Certificate from the Disclose and Barring Service, which they obtained in June 2016. Lisa also holds an Agile Project Management Foundation & Practitioner certification from APMG International, which they obtained in April 2015.
