Ben Dunlop

Ben Dunlop has a diverse and extensive work experience in the mining industry. Ben started their career as a Student at the University of Newcastle from 2007 to 2010. Ben then worked at Cockatoo Coal Ltd. as a Project Geologist and later as a Senior Exploration Geologist from 2010 to 2012. Ben joined Queensland Coal Corporation as an Engineering Geologist from 2012 to 2015. Ben then joined Sojitz Corporation, where they held several roles such as Manager - Geology & Exploration, Development & Operations Lead, and Manager - Wilton and Fairhill Coal Projects from 2016 to 2021. In 2021, they worked as the Chief Project Officer at Vitrinite. Currently, Ben serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Futura Resources Limited, a position they have held since October 2022. Throughout their career, Ben has gained valuable experience in project management, geology, exploration, and engineering.

Ben Dunlop attended the University of Newcastle from 2008 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Earth Sciences.
