Adrien Coffinet

Adrien Coffinet is a science journalist at Futura since April 2020, specializing in articles related to astronomy. Previously, Adrien served as an animateur de communauté at the Observatoire astronomique de l'Université de Genève from March 2013 to March 2019 and worked as an astrophysicien - assistant doctorant under the supervision of Professors Francesco Pepe and Dr. Christophe Lovis. Adrien's academic background includes a Master in Astrophysics, Plasma, and Planets from Université Joseph Fourier and an engineer diploma in Physics from Grenoble INP - Phelma. During early educational experiences, Adrien completed significant internships, including research on gyrochronology at Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory and exoplanet detection analysis during a final study project. Additionally, Adrien contributed as a writer and then editor-in-chief for OmniSciences, a student journal at the University of Geneva.
