Laura Bird

Laura Bird has a diverse work experience in finance and accounting roles. Laura is currently working as the Chief Financial Officer at Future Anthem since November 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Finance Director at Access Intelligence Plc from December 2021 to November 2022. Laura also held the position of Group Financial Director at Tau Marketing Services from August 2019 to April 2021. Before that, they worked as the Group Financial Controller at Gaming Realms from November 2017 to August 2019. Laura also gained experience at Ladbrokes Coral Group, where they served as the Digital Financial Controller and Synergies Integration Business Partner. Laura worked as the Financial Reporting Manager - Digital at Ladbrokes from May 2013 to April 2015. Additionally, they served as the Finance Operations Manager, International TV Production at NBCUniversal, Inc. from April 2015 to April 2016. Laura began their career as an Audit Executive at BDO LLP from December 2007 to May 2012. Laura also worked as the Group Financial Reporting Accountant at Ocado from May 2012 to May 2013. Overall, Laura Bird has a strong background in finance and accounting with experience in various leadership roles.

Laura Bird attended St Ivo secondary school and sixth form from 2000 to 2007. Laura did not obtain a degree or specialize in any particular field during this time. Following their secondary education, from 2008 to 2011, Laura attended the ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) where they pursued a degree in Accounting and Finance, earning an ACA (Associate Chartered Accountant) qualification. In March 2016, Laura obtained a certification in i3BAR (Integrated, interactive & intelligent excel models for business analytics & reporting) from the Institute of Business Analytics.
