Ben O'Meara

Ben O'Meara has a diverse and extensive work experience. Ben started their career as a Site Mechanical Engineer at GlaxoSmithKline in 2007 and worked there until 2010. Ben then moved to Diageo and served as a Project Manager for their Africa Supply division, responsible for managing a significant brewery upgrade project in Uganda. From 2013 to 2015, they worked at UKAEA, Culham as a Project Manager, leading the JET Experimental Nuclear Fusion Reactor upgrade project. At Atkins, they held the position of Senior Engineer from 2016 to 2020, managing large design teams on various projects in the Nuclear and Water Utilities sectors. Ben'smost recent role was at Ameresco, where they worked as a Senior Project Manager from 2020 to 2023, handling multiple energy-saving construction projects. Currently, they are employed as the Head of Projects at Future Biogas Ltd.

From 2002 to 2007, Ben O'Meara attended Oxford Brookes University, where they earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering.
