Alvaro Calle Cordon

Alvaro Calle Cordon, Ph.D., is a knowledgeable data scientist with extensive experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and data analytics. Currently serving as a data scientist at Future Connections since May 2025, Alvaro previously held the position of Data Scientist Lead and Artificial Intelligence Consultant at QUANT AI Lab from June 2022 to May 2025. Alvaro has also contributed as an adjunct professor at IE School of Human Sciences and Technology, teaching courses on artificial intelligence and mentoring students. The professional journey includes roles at StratioBD, CAF, CEMOSA, Universidad de Málaga, Universidad de Murcia, Thomas Jefferson National Accelerator Facility, and Universidad de Granada, where Alvaro has engaged in diverse research and teaching assignments. Alvaro holds a Ph.D. in Physics from Universidad de Granada, along with multiple master's degrees in Financial Engineering and Statistical Learning & Data Mining.
