Julian Elliott is the CEO of the Future Evidence Foundation and Covidence.org, focusing on bridging the gap between scientific advances and societal needs. As an Affiliate Fellow at the Federation of American Scientists, Julian Elliott works to promote evidence-based policy-making in the U.S. Additionally, Julian Elliott serves on the board of the Australian Living Evidence Collaboration, where Julian Elliott played a pivotal role as founding chair in developing the world's first living guidelines in health care. Julian Elliott has been instrumental in leading the National COVID-19 Clinical Evidence Taskforce, establishing innovative approaches to clinical guidelines during the pandemic. Current academic roles include Professor at Monash University and former positions at Cochrane and the Alfred Hospital, highlighting a strong background in infectious diseases and research initiatives. Julian Elliott holds an MBBS from the University of Melbourne, a PhD from the University of New South Wales, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians in Infectious Diseases.
