Qi Meek, M.Sc.

Qi Meek, M.Sc. has a diverse work experience in the field of quality assurance and laboratory testing. They began their career in 2018 as a Laboratory Technician at Fluid Life, where they worked for a year before transitioning to Atlas Growers Ltd. In Atlas Growers, Qi held various roles including Laboratory Technician, Quality Control Supervisor, and QA/QC Assistant Manager. They worked in the company from July 2019 until May 2022. Currently, Qi works at Future Fields as a QA Lead, starting in May 2022.

Qi Meek, M.Sc. has a diverse education background in environmental science and regulatory affairs. They obtained a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from Anhui Science and Technology University in 2012. In 2013-2014, Qi Meek pursued a semester of M.Sc. studies in Environmental Science at Ocean University of China. They then proceeded to earn a Master's degree in Environmental Science/Land Reclamation from the University of Alberta between 2015 and 2017.

In 2020-2021, Qi Meek attended the Academy of Applied Pharmaceutical Sciences and completed a post-graduate Diploma in Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs in Food, Pharma, and Cosmetic.

Additionally, Qi Meek has obtained several certifications to enhance their expertise. In August 2021, they earned the AQAP certification from Health Canada | Santé Canada. They also obtained the FSPCA Preventative Control for Human Food certification from the Association of Food and Drug Officials in May 2021. Furthermore, Qi Meek received the GMP, Preventive Controls and HACCP Implementation certification from SGS Academy Perú in February 2021. They have also completed the WHMIS certification from the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety in November 2019.

In terms of additional certifications, Qi Meek has pursued the CSTS-09 certification from the Alberta Construction Safety Association and the Defensive Driving certification from the Alberta Motor Association, although the months and years of completion are not specified.
