Mark Prendergast

Mark Prendergast serves as the Regional Managing Director for South & South East Asia at AB Mauri since December 2011, overseeing a region with a population exceeding 2.5 billion. Prendergast has held various significant roles, including Global Markets Director and President of AB Mauri North America, where a focus on world-class yeast and bakery ingredients is emphasized. Additionally, Prendergast is a Strategy Consultant and Chair of the Audit Committee for Future Food Systems, and has previously directed Cortex Innovation Community and served on the board of Bridge Bread Bakery, a social enterprise. Earlier experience includes senior management positions at George Weston Foods, Cyberlynx, and Allergan, complemented by a strong educational background with credentials from prestigious institutions such as UNSW and INSEAD.
