Asa Liersch has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Currently, they hold the role of Director, Corporate Technology at Future Fund, where they started in 2022. Prior to this, Asa worked as a Client Executive at Empired Ltd from August 2019 to November 2021. In 2019, they also held a position as Director - Business Development at Modis from January to July. Earlier in their career, Asa worked as a Client Partner at Oakton from February 2017 to April 2018.
Before joining Oakton, Asa had a long tenure at SMS Management & Technology, starting as a Consultant & Account Director in July 2000 and later transitioning into the role of Account Director - Financial Services. During this time, they were responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for Financial Services accounts. Asa received recognition for their work, winning the VIC Salesperson of the Year award in 2016. Additionally, they served as a Lead Consultant for a Corporate Services Operational Functions Review project in 2008.
In 2012, Asa worked at National Australia Bank as a Project Manager, leading the implementation of HP ALM and managing various aspects of the project. In 2010, they had a role at Telstra as a Consultant for Project Jupiter - Enhanced Sales Capability, where they focused on process development and resource management.
Earlier in their career, Asa worked as a Lead PMO Consultant at CitiPower and Powercor in 2010, a Facilitator and Risk Manager at the Bureau of Meteorology in 2009, and a Workshop Facilitator at the Department of Planning and Community Development (DPCD) in 2009.
Asa Liersch began their education at Växjö University from 1993 to 1996, where they pursued a Bachelor of Social Science in International Administration. In 1992, they also attended Nola skolan, although the field of study is unspecified. Later, in 2000, they obtained a Certificate of Management Leadership (CML) Level 1 from RMIT University. Continuing their educational pursuits, Asa Liersch attended the Australian Institute of Management in 2005 and earned a Certified Master Project Director (MAIPM) qualification. Lastly, in 2009 and 2010, they studied at the Australian College of Training and Education ACTE, receiving a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAA40104).
