Maggie Munro

Maggie Munro is a Communications Strategist at the Future of Life Institute since June 2023, bringing extensive experience in political and non-profit sectors. Previously, Maggie held roles such as Chief of Staff and Executive Assistant at a U.S.-based Political Action Committee; Executive Assistant for a U.S.-based Political Consultant; and Digital Marketing Assistant at a Montreal-based women's health tech company. Maggie contributed to sexual education initiatives with Sex and Self, serving on a Curriculum Development subcommittee and presenting educational seminars. Additionally, Maggie served as Editor-in-Chief for the Contemporary Review of Genocides and Political Violence, leading editorial management and publication efforts. Leadership roles included Co-President of McGill Hoops for Youth and Vice President of Outreach for Effective Altruists at McGill. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from McGill University and a study stint at the University of Sydney.
