Carolyn Merriman

Carolyn Merriman is an experienced director and executive producer with a strong background in storytelling and digital media. Currently serving as the Director and Executive Producer at the Future of StoryTelling since October 2011, Carolyn champions the art and commerce of storytelling through an annual summit in New York City. Carolyn also works as an Executive Producer for Melcher Media, focusing on the production of videos, animations, apps, and websites. As the founder of Shortstack, established in 2010, Carolyn created educational and fun apps for children, receiving high ratings and recognition from major outlets. Previous experience includes roles as a Freelance Producer for mobile applications, Media Producer at Night & Day Studios, and an Associate Producer for award-winning documentary film "The Unforeseen." Carolyn holds a degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
