Alexander McNamara

Alexander McNamara is an experienced editorial professional currently serving as Editor In Chief at Future and Live Science since September 2022. Previously, Alexander held the position of Audience Editor at New Scientist, where expertise in audience development and SEO was applied to engage a significant weekly user base. Additional roles include Online Editor for BBC Science Focus Magazine, Lead Search Editor for Bing's international markets at Microsoft, and various editorial positions at Microsoft and Hearst Digital. Alexander holds a BA (hons) in Economics from The University of Sheffield and has a background in teaching English at the Czech University of Agriculture.
