Francisco Javier Martín Umpiérrez

Francisco Javier Martín Umpiérrez is a seasoned software engineer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in both front-end and back-end development. Currently, Francisco serves as Co-Founder at EconAware, overseeing a remote development team and specializing in technologies such as Flask, Laravel, and VueJs. With a robust background at Future plc as a Senior Systems Engineer, Francisco has worked on core systems, DevOps, and occasionally front-end projects, utilizing a diverse range of technologies including Kubernetes, Redis, and TensorFlow. Past roles include Co-Founder and Senior Software Engineer at Wenenu, and CEO at CycloShield LTD, where Francisco focused on both hardware and software development, including Android app creation and obstacle detection algorithms. Francisco's earlier experience includes freelancing as a Java Developer, co-founding the Asociación de Webmasters de Granada, and holding a Master’s degree in Bioinformatics from Universidad Internacional de Andalucía and an MSc in Computer Science and Engineering from Universidad de Granada.
