Roxie J. Patton has had extensive experience in the field of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Roxie J. has held various roles in different organizations, starting from 2011.

In their most recent position at Burlington Stores, Inc., Roxie has been serving as a DEI Manager since 2022, where they are responsible for developing and implementing strategies to promote diversity and inclusion within the company.

Before joining Burlington Stores, Inc., Roxie worked as a Think Tank Member at Future Talent Council, starting in 2021. In this role, they collaborated with experts and industry leaders to develop innovative solutions and strategies for optimizing productivity, employee well-being, and business outcomes in the evolving work environment. Roxie J. also presented research findings and recommendations to corporate executives and policymakers, influencing decision-making and driving successful organizational transformations.

Prior to that, Roxie served as a Content Expert and Presenter at Academic Impressions from 2021 to 2022. Roxie J. provided expert guidance on creating psychologically safe working environments, conflict management, and leadership development. Roxie J. also developed and delivered training programs to drive positive change and enhance organizational effectiveness.

From 2019 to 2022, Roxie worked as a Personal Empowerment & Leadership Coach at Arise Coaching Solutions. Roxie J. utilized the Life Values Inventory to empower individuals and provided one-on-one coaching in personal empowerment and leadership development. Roxie J. also designed a comprehensive 90-day self-paced companion course to facilitate personal and professional growth.

In their role as Director at Rowan University from 2019 to 2022, Roxie led a cross-functional cultural assessment to develop strategies for creating a more inclusive organizational climate. Roxie J. co-created and facilitated a highly regarded DEI Certificate program and acted as a key communicator of organization-wide DEI messaging.

Before joining Rowan University, Roxie served as a Content Expert & Presenter at the American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine (AACOM) in 2020. Roxie J. provided expertise and presented on relevant topics within the field of DEI.

From 2017 to 2019, Roxie worked as an Associate Director at William & Mary. In this role, they directed the hiring, supervision, and training of a team, implemented a tracking system to monitor organizational climate, facilitated DEI training programs, and successfully raised funds for DEI initiatives.

Roxie's experience also includes roles at East Carolina University as a Program Specialist from 2014 to 2017, where they provided strategic direction in DEI training initiatives, and at Kent State University as a Program Coordinator from 2012 to 2014, where they developed training programs, designed assessment tools, and conducted workshops on diversity-related topics.

Their earliest experience in the field dates back to 2011 at Wright State University, where they served as a Graduate Assistant- Student Activities and Intern-Office of Student Activities. In these roles, they managed campus centers, coordinated outreach efforts, and assisted in planning leadership retreats.

Overall, Roxie J. Patton has a strong background in DEI and has demonstrated their ability to lead and drive positive change in organizations through their various roles and experiences.

Roxie J. Patton completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre and Dance from Wittenberg University in the years 2006 to 2009. Roxie J. then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Student Affairs in Higher Education at Wright State University from 2010 to 2012.

Additionally, Roxie J. Patton has obtained several certifications in various areas. In 2014, they became an Intercultural Practitioner from the Intercultural Communication Institute.
