Paul Carter MCIOB MIET has a strong work experience in the construction and design industry. Paul started their career as an Architectural Technician at Cobban and Lironi Architects in 1990. Paul then moved on to Kingfisher, where they worked as a Contracts and Design Manager for seven years. In 2001, Paul founded their own company called Reef Design, where they specialized in concept design, CAD, project management, and procurement. After almost a decade, they joined Future-tech as a Senior Projects Manager and Quality Manager. Paul later advanced to the position of Project Director.

Paul Carter MCIOB MIET attended Thames Valley University, where they studied Building Construction Technology. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications throughout their career, including MIET from the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), MCIOB Chartered Construction Manager from The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB), and a Pearson Edexcel Level 7 NVQ Diploma in Construction Senior Management from Pearson. Paul has also obtained certifications in various areas such as project management (Prince 2 Foundation and Practitioner certificates), safety training (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), and specialized operations (Accredited Operations Specialist from Uptime Institute). In 2023, they obtained a PASMA certification, and in 2022, they obtained a CSCS Management (Black) Card Certification.
