Jean-Louis Warnholz has extensive experience in the private, public, and academic sectors. In 2021, they became Co-Founder & CEO of Future, Inc., which simplifies the transition to a net-zero economy for individuals and families. From 2013 to 2021, they were Senior Advisor and Founding Principal & Managing Director of BlackIvy Group, which delivers life's essentials to consumers in Africa. From 2010 to 2013, they were Senior Advisor for the Office of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton at the U.S. Department of State. From 2009 to 2010, they were Senior Economic Advisor at the Open Society Foundations and Senior Economic Advisor/Consultant at The World Bank. From 2008 to 2009, they were a Research Economist at the University of Oxford. From 2005 to 2008, they were an Economic Advisor at the Department for International Development.

Jean-Louis Warnholz completed a Bachelor's Degree in Development Economics and International Development from the University of Bath between 2003 and 2007. Jean-Louis then pursued an MSc Economics for Development from the University of Oxford from 2007 to 2008, specializing in International Economics.
