Hillary Shayne has an extensive work history, beginning in 2008 with the Mental Health Association of Montgomery County as a Youth and Family Education Coordinator. Hillary then moved to The Salvation Army in 2009 as a Homelessness Prevention Case Manager. In 2012, they worked at the University of Pennsylvania as a Social Media Coordinator/Events Coordinator. Later that same year, they worked at LIFT as a Grant Writer. In 2013, they worked at LIFT, Inc. as a Performance Management Summer Consultant. In 2014, they worked at the City of Philadelphia - Department of Behavioral Health as a Human Services Continuity Planner. In 2016, they worked at the City of Philadelphia - Department of Behavioral Health as a Strategic Planning Project Manager, Office of the CIO. In 2017, they worked at the City of Philadelphia as a CoC Training & Technical Assistance Specialist, Office of Homeless Services. In 2018, they worked at Philadelphia Works, Inc. as Manager of Training and Upskilling and Manager of Training Initiatives. Finally, they are currently working at FutureFit AI as a Customer Strategy and Operations since 2022.

Hillary Shayne has a Master's of Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania, where they studied Nonprofit Management from 2012 to 2014. Hillary also has a B.A. from Tufts University, where they studied Urban Studies and Peace and Justice Studies from 2004 to 2008.
