Andrew White

Head Of Science/cofounder at FutureHouse

Andrew White is a cofounder and Head of Science at FutureHouse since July 2023. Serving as an Associate Professor of Chemical Engineering at the University of Rochester since January 2015, Andrew leads a research group focused on chemistry, materials, and AI, and teaches courses on deep learning in these fields. Prior experience includes roles as an Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago and Postdoctoral Fellow researching molecular simulations, as well as a Graduate Student at the University of Washington developing biomaterials. Early research experiences include work at the Max Planck Institute and undergraduate research at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Andrew holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington and a BS from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
