Jon Laurent

Jon Laurent is a skilled professional in the field of biotechnology with extensive experience in research and development. Currently serving as Technical Staff at Future House since October 2023, Jon previously held leadership roles at Opentrons, including VP of R&D and Co-founder of the Pandemic Response Lab from August 2020 to September 2022. Prior to that, Jon was a Postdoctoral Fellow at NYU Langone Health from June 2017 to August 2020 and at The University of Texas at Austin from September 2009 to May 2017, where also served as a Graduate Research Assistant. Jon began the professional journey as a Research Assistant at Montana State University Billings from September 2006 to August 2009. Jon holds a Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Biology from Montana State University Billings.
