Brian Tan Boon Yong

Brian Tan Boon Yong started their work experience in 2009 as a Researcher at the University of Oxford, where they conducted experiments and analyzed scientific journals related to a rare lysosomal storage disease. In 2013, they joined Accenture as a Management Consulting Analyst, where they worked on digital strategy and analytics projects for clients in the telecommunications industry. In 2015, they served as a Senior Associate at Ethos & Company, developing strategies and initiatives for a Malaysian Oil & Gas company and a Muslima fashion company. Since 2016, Brian has been the CEO & Founder of FutureLab.my, an all-in-one mentoring platform empowering HR & LR professionals.

Brian Tan Boon Yong has a education history that includes a variety of programs, degrees, and fields of study. Brian attended Garden International School, where they completed their IGCSEs and Cambridge A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and AS Geography. Brian then pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry at the University of Bath from 2007 to 2011. Afterward, they attended Imperial College Business School from 2011 to 2012 to earn their MSc in Management. In 2016, they attended NEXT Academy for a Ruby On Rails - Full stack developer program. Brian also participated in the e@Stanford Program and Stanford Go2Market Program at Stanford University, focusing on Entrepreneurship and Entrepreneurial Studies. Additionally, Brian completed the Innovation Ambassador Development Programme (IADP) at Genovasi Malaysia, specializing in Design Thinking.
