Athina Giokarini

Athina Giokarini serves as the Lead Game Designer at Futureplay Games since October 2021, building on a diverse background in game design and development. Previously, Giokarini held a series of roles at Seriously Digital Entertainment from April 2017 to October 2021, progressing from Junior Level Designer to Lead Level Designer. Prior experience includes a position as a Student Research Assistant at SindeFin and an internship as a Game Tester at AetherGuilds. Early roles also featured tutoring students in New Media in Architecture at D.U.Th. and an internship as an Architect. Athina Giokarini holds a Master of Arts in New Media, with a focus on Game Design and Production from Aalto University, as well as a Master of Architecture from Democritus University of Thrace.
