Alex Matchneer

Alex Matchneer started their career in 2009 as a Financial Software Developer at Bloomberg. Alex worked on the Bloomberg TRADEBOOK subsidiary, focusing on functions related to monitoring bids and asks for stocks and other financial instruments. Alex used C and C++ as well as a JavaScript server-side rendering library called Rapid. Alex also assisted in recruitment efforts. In 2011, Alex became a Consultant and worked on various full-stack software projects in New York City. Alex collaborated with startups, record labels, and marketing agencies, using technologies like Rails, JavaScript, and Ember. Alex also utilized social media APIs like the Facebook SDK. Alex joined FutureProof Retail in 2013 as the Chief Technology Officer and has been in that role ever since.

Alex Matchneer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their degree, Alex obtained the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services in February 2017.
